This review calls the game Battlefield 1 a
‘fantastic first-person shooter series’ which has an ‘exhilarating multiplayer.
Because of this they also said the way that they use different styles of World
War One characters makes it different to the other FPS games that have been
released in recent years. This is because many of them games are based in the
future or in the modern day and not in a battlefield which has such a
significant factor on the way we live today.
B - Target audience:
The target audience of this game would be people
who would like to play a campaign, which is meaningful. This is because they
believe the story means something to them. Because this campaign would mean
something to them they would also play the multiplayer as well, because it
would not get boring due to the fact that the different maps have different
terrain sizes as well as gameplay.
C - Narrative/storyline:
The IGN review stated that this game is not known
for the multiplayer being very good. However, during this Battlefield 1 game
its’ said to be different to previous ones’. Within this Battlefield game they
said; that the storyline had a different change of pace which was ‘nice’ for
the game because of the different amount of characters and uses of them allows
the game to ‘’juggle charm and tragedy and helps humanise the war.’’ They say
that the different war stories within the game allows you to capture the Great
War during its peaks and its smallness.
D - Characters:
The person who was reviewing this game stated that
the game allows you to have a personal connection with the characters instead
of feeling as if you are having a ‘’bombastic history lesson’’ because the game
had so many different soldiers in which you would end up playing with it showed
the difference in battles in the Great War. The reviewers also stated that they
liked the importance that Black men and Puerto Rican men are given instead of
being left to the side.
E - Gameplay:
The reviewer says the multiplayer aspect of the
game is one of the games strong points because it still allows you to play to
an objective and vehicle warfare. As well as the multiplayer part of the game
having a good factor on the game the campaign isn’t your typical ‘patriotic’
game and decides to leave out the fact that the good guys will allows beat the
bad guy. This is shown on the first mission where you also learn how to play
the game where you would pick up the different controls of the game.
F - Platforms:
There are many different platforms which the game
is on the first being PC which is one of the strongest for graphics. The second
being Xbox One, and the third being the PlayStation 4 the game can be bought on
these platforms for a price between £40, and £50.

this review on the whole is very good as it isn't biased in any way. one example is they bring up the fact that race isn't separated out throughout the game as there are different levels in which you will play as not being English or American, but as an Italian trooper or German solider.
