This is given to games because PEGI believe that the game can be played by everyone, if it was to have violence within the game then it would be of a comical nature.

this is given to games because PEGI believe that game should be considered a 3 but has scary scenes that might frighten the players.

This would be given to games by PEGI because some parts of the game might have violence but it is presented within a graphic way. As well as this it might have a small amount of foul language within the game.

This is given to games by PEGI because it will show violence in a more mature way, it will also be given to games which shows sexual scenes such as nudity and behaviour as well as this it will show the concept of smoking tobacco and taking drugs.

This will be given whenever a game reaches the amount of violence where it becomes very gross and uses different methods such as torture methods. It will also have all/most of the following within the game; bad language, discriminations, violence, drugs, fear, gambling, sex, and online gameplay.

PEGI is the regulatory body who will decide what ratings each game gets as well as the game which can be released.
