Assassins Creed Brotherhood

Assassins Creed Brotherhood is a game that is created by Ubisoft’s subsidiary Ubisoft Montreal. Just like Rockstar and Grand Theft Auto they have kept to the same subsidiary which created the first game in the series which I the same with this game. The main part of the game was created by Ubisoft Montreal, but when it came down to the new multiplayer game mode which was introduced during this Assassins Creed it was created by Ubisoft’s other subsidiary Ubisoft Annecy. When the game was about to be released it was announced that they were receiving some problems with the game. The reason behind this was the directors of the game left E3 2010 before their presentation. But the presentation carried on as usual showing a trailer of the game as well as some walkthrough gameplay.

Minecraft

When the creator of Minecraft started to develop the game he done it with the intentions of playing it himself. The game had many different prototypes created, the prototypes included a game in which you built in 3D blocks and a view in first person. When the creator in this case Markus Persson believed the game was acceptable enough to play he decided that he will release it to the public this was in mid-2009.
The game prototype was fully released during the june of 2010 and soon proved to be popular causing him to quit his full time job and create the company now known as Mojang who released the game. Come a year later mid-November the game known as Minecraft was released to the general public.

That Dragon Cancer

Because the game was released in memory of a 4 year old boy who lost his life due to cancer the game wasn’t released until after he died. The game had a lot of trouble whilst it was in the production stage, this was down to the fact that people who were backing the game started pulling out, which is down to the fact that the game can be very sensitive to some people playing it. Because
people who were backing the game thought the script and layout of the game was too sensitive nearly three quarters of the games script had to be re-wrote. One website which is called www.ouya.tv had the game uploaded onto it, on to one of the set up schemes called the Kickstarter campaign. This allowed them to get backers for the game meaning that they are able to earn money to create the game as well. The game in fact gained 3,700+ backers and raised a total of $100,000 beating their aim of $85,000 by £15,000. Because this was an indie game and they did not have any of the technical software’s to create faces the characters remained without a face.

Grand Theft Auto V

Many of the previous Grand Theft Auto game which were previously released took around two years to create but this Grand Theft Auto was not like that due to the fact it took from 2009 and was released towards the end of 2013. This game like Assassin Creed Brotherhood was developed by the same company that created the original Rockstar North had a team of 1000+ people to create this game but it still took a total of around 4 years to complete. But it proved worthwhile when it was released as it broke many world records such as; best-selling action adventure videogame in 24 hours, best-selling videogame in 24 hours, fastest videogame to gross 1 billion dollars, etc…
The cost of developing amounted to a total of 170 million pound and when it was released it gained a total of £511.8 million on release day. And a total of 1 billion pound within three.
